One of a series of paintings created after visiting California USA. I loved watching the continuous movement of waves rolling in and breaking and the ever changing patterns, swirls and colours of the ocean, made up of the most amazing hues of blues, greens and shades of violets and purples.
Movement is never an easy subject to capture in a painting, but I feel I have done it some justice in these studies of surfers riding the waves.
This painting comes unframed in a 5cm wide, pale mount.
