A cold day at Kinewell lake in Northamptonshire for the local wildlife. I wanted to capture the icy feel of the day with the poor swans trying to get a foothold on the ice, which was already breaking up near the water's edge. Painted on Bockingford watercolour paper with artist quality watercolours, this lovely painting comes in a 5cm pale mount.
